shaping the next generation of musical theatre artists.

The TMTC Young Artists’ program is a three-week pre-professional theatre experience, June 14-July 2, 2010, designed to offer young artists the unique opportunity to experience first-hand the cultivation of new material for the musical theatre. Young artists, age 14 through college, will participate in the rehearsal, development, and production of a world premiere musical.

Rehearsing and performing in a professional setting, participants will have the unique opportunity to develop their artistry, talents, and skills by originating roles in a contemporary full-length musical. The TMTC Young Artists will be led by New York and Chicago area professionals, receiving instruction, guidance, and the opportunity to make future professional connections with members of the industry.
